Who knew snacking could be so rewarding?

To show their appreciation to their loyal consumers, Kraft Foods Malaysia held a contest called the “Twisties Mata Mania SMS Contest”. The contest took place from 1st of April 2011 till 27th of May 2011. By taking part in the contest, participants had the chance to win fantastic prizes like LCD Tvs, HP Minis, Sony PlayStation3s, HTC Wildfires and the grand prize of a Volkswagen Polo! Kraft Foods Malaysia made it really easy for their consumers to be part of this contest, all one had to do was purchase any participating Twisties, Chipster or Cheezels packs, find the contest card inside the pack, SMS the unique code according to the format on the card and correctly answer a question to obtain one point. Winners were selected based on the most amount of points obtained during the respective contest period.

On 20th June 2011, Kraft Foods Malaysia unveiled their Grand Prize winner of its Twisties Mata Mania SMS contest at Laundry, The Curve. Tan Choong Liang, 37, was ecstatic to find out that his investment of tremendous amount of time and effort of sending in 4508 SMSes had lead to him winning the brand-new fiery-red Volkswagen Polo!

The “Twisties Winners’ Reveal” event which took place at Laundry, The Curve from 10.00am till 12.00pm was attended by Jason Chin, the Marketing Director of Kraft Foods Malaysia and was emceed by Joey-G, the popular DJ and also Channel V, VJ. Besides that, lunch and entertainment by White Percussions Unit was also provided at the event.
